Apple cinnamon porridge with walnuts
Creamy oat porridge with sautéed cinnamon apple and toasted walnuts — 16 g protein and 8 g fibre in 15 minutes.
Ingredients
- 50 grolled oats
- 200 mlmilk
- ½apple(finely diced)
- ½ tspcinnamon
- 15 gwalnuts(roughly chopped)
- 5 gmaple syrup(optional)
- ¼ tspvanilla extract

Bring 50 g rolled oats and 200 ml milk to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 6 minutes, stirring, until creamy.

Meanwhile, simmer ½ apple with ½ tsp cinnamon and 30 ml water in a small pan for 4 minutes until soft.

Stir ¼ tsp vanilla extract into the porridge.

Divide between two bowls, top with the cinnamon apples, sprinkle with 15 g walnuts and drizzle with 5 g maple syrup.
